Is GitHub down right now?

github.com — live status, response speed, SSL and legitimacy.

What GitHub is

The largest host for code repositories and open-source collaboration.

Is it down for everyone or just you?

The check above runs from our servers, not your device. If it says github.com is responding but the site won't load for you, the problem is on your end. Restart your router, try another network or your phone's data, clear your DNS cache, and switch off browser extensions one at a time.
