Is Wikipedia down right now?

wikipedia.org — live status, response speed, SSL and legitimacy.

What Wikipedia is

Free, volunteer-written encyclopedia in hundreds of languages. No ads, funded by donations. Check the cited sources for anything important.

Is it down for everyone or just you?

The check above runs from our servers, not your device. If it says wikipedia.org is responding but the site won't load for you, the problem is on your end. Restart your router, try another network or your phone's data, clear your DNS cache, and switch off browser extensions one at a time.
